No drinks on the ground?

If I'm waiting long time on the ground for the clearence, why I can't serve a drink?

You cannot serve drinks on the ground indeed, you need to have a certain altitude and your vs should be within certain limits

It is not realistic to serve drinks while on the ground.

It might only happens if the delay on the ground will be severe and the pax are not allowed to leave the plane.

well, this might apply for the economy class, but in business and first you allways get drinks before departure!

this is something completely else, now you're asking for different services between the classes.

I for one feel that this program is supper.
We just have to live what is programmed here bee it good or bad.
The good things here are over 99% as compared to the bad 1% .

Id be lucky to get my full 8 mini pretzels in a bag in economy. Normally I get shafted and only get 7 mini pretzels...

And they call that a snack.

Have you ever heard of VATSIM?? Basically, using a tool, you connect onto a central server. From then on, all ATC is managed via online controllers etc..

It's really cool (VATSIM) if you have the time for it.

Once, on an AA flight from KDFW to KAUS, there were storms around KACT (Waco, right between the two cities) and they served us drinks on the ground
due to massive delays and a relativly unpopulated airplane.
