The million dollar question...
You said the plane is turning the wrong way. Are you hand-flying the ILS approach or just flipping on the autopilot? If you are flipping on the A/P, make sure you have the course set correctly (at least close) and you are engaging the correct system (i.e. not the BC). ![]()

There's actually a number of reasons why this can happen:
For example at EGGW (Luton) the frequency for ILJ ( RW26 ) and ILTN ( RW08 ) are the same (which is often the case for single runway airports with dual ILSes in FS9). So first the most obvious, do you have the correct course set tin he course window on the glareshield panel ( 077 for RW08 and 257 for RW26 )? If you leave it at 360 or have the reciprocal course set to the approach you're flying, the AP will fly the worng approach. is the correct Identifier (see above) displayed under the VOR1 heading on the HSI? Also make sure that you're flying a proper approach course to the Localizer you need. If you approach from the west for an approach to 26, ILTN for RWY 08 will be this played on the HSI first, changing to ILJ after you pass the airport. If you hit the APP button of the AP prematurely, the wrong localizer will be captured. Ideally you should hit APP whil intercepting the desired approach course with a angle of 15°. Now this might sound totally trivial and totally obvious to you, but ket's just mnake sure everything else is "in the green" before we start exploring the (highly unlikey) alley that FsP might be the culprit.. The above by the way is also true for EGNT (Newcastle) which is also a single runway airport with the same frequency for both localizers. If all that didn't help, we'll need to investigate further. Luton-EGGW
runways 26/8 freq 109.15 --------------------------- New Castle-EGNT runways 25/7 freq 111.50 ---------------------------- I looked them both up......Now what I dont' get is,why there is no B/C's on these. Both show up as standard ILS's,I.E. no Back Course!......So could this be causing the problem? I just dont' remember seeing this anywhere else? So gotta go with BERNBEAR...this aint' a FSP problem this is a navigation problem. Jeff
