problem with aircraft [solved] - maxpax - 05-01-2006 Ever since i have instaled FsPassengers, I can't get ILS landing system etc to work properly. Can anyone help? ![]() Re: problem with aircraft - Ryanamur - 05-01-2006 Which aircraft? Re: problem with aircraft - maxpax - 05-01-2006 I have tried only three aircraft using FsPassengers, but all of them have the same problem. Re: problem with aircraft - Dutch64 - 05-01-2006 can you describe exactly what your problem is? Re: problem with aircraft - SaVas - 05-01-2006 and which aircraft would those be? Who are the developers? Are they freeware or payware aircraft? Each aircarft for the sim is like a car model. They all drive (in most cases) but some are more intricate than others, some have isues, while others dont etc. Re: problem with aircraft - maxpax - 05-01-2006 The exact problem is that the ILS identifies but doesn't actually take me to the airport, it turns the opposite way. Two of the aircraft are freeware addons from FlyUk virtual and one of them is a re-textured default one. Re: problem with aircraft - Dutch64 - 05-01-2006 I don't see how this would be a fsp problem but (kind of my default question), what's the default plane you have in fs9? (the one you see turning around when you're about to create a new flight?) Re: problem with aircraft - maxpax - 05-01-2006 The only reason I think it could be an FSP problem is because it only happened once without it and now is happening nearly every flight. The default aircraft I'm using is the 737. Re: problem with aircraft - SaVas - 05-01-2006 Hmm seems odd that FsP would affect ILS as I dont believe FsP has anything to do with that component of an aircraft's .cfg file. Might be something Dan can elaborate on more Re: problem with aircraft - maxpax - 05-01-2006 OK, thanks for trying anyway. It probably isn't an FSP problem, but as I said it's only been happening since I installed it. I'll try un-installing Flight Sim, see if that helps. Re: problem with aircraft - CODY614 - 05-01-2006 Ahhhhh.....Are you sure you are not flying a "Back course localizer"? I've done this before with out paying attention to the frequency.......The identifier will be the same....but the heading is 180' out. Jeff T. Re: problem with aircraft - maxpax - 05-01-2006 How do I solve that problem? do I just need to check I am putting in the correct frequency? Re: problem with aircraft - eazy - 05-01-2006 Can you tell at which airport(s) this happened? And which runway? So we can make sure if it was a BC approach or not. Re: problem with aircraft - CODY614 - 05-01-2006 Well alot of the "Heavies" can fly a "back course" by flipping a switch....Most of the time if it's like Runway 090 and you know its a back course ILS just set the heading on the HSI/VOR to 270....The reciprocal heading....Now it should track fine and if there is a glide slope it should work as normal.
