I thought I might bring this one up, just last month I purchased FSpax, which to my calculation is about Rp 350,000 (Indonesian currency)
Yes, I know you're surprised, considering that 99.99 % of software you can legally buy in Indonesia is pirated... hell, even the authorities/
police would say "Kid, do something better and stop bothering us" if you report the shop that sell pirated CDs. All of the police and their
chronies are on the pirates payroll....
Anyway, that aside...
As I said, I calculate that I would pay around Rp 350,000 for FSpassenger, however, I was billed for the sum of Rp 400,000 (Rp 50,000
extra). Apparently, I was billed by the exchange rate on the day the bill was issued, not by the exchange rate on the day of the transaction. I
know I might sound stingy, after all Rp 50,000 worth about US$5. However, for Indonesian, Rp 50,000 is a lot.
So, for the future transaction and convenience, is it possible that the buyer/s are billed with the exchange rate on the day of the
transaction instead of the exchange rate of the day the bill is issued ?
Thank you for your attention.
