I wouldnt say it is overwhelming, it all depends on just how much one loves aviation. Honestly I learned in like 2 days. Was the best part
of flying it- learning. ![]() a whole new respect for you guys. If only the passengers had a clue. No wonder Captains get a nice slice like doctors or Lawyers.

Lol... not quite that much (especially here at SWA). I make enough to live well, that's about it.

It's the level D I'm having slight difficulties with. I think I really need to run the manual and checklists again till like the DC9, PMDG and
RFP747 I have it down to an art, in the PMDG I can run the checks in about 10 minutes flat, same for the DC9, the 747 takes a bit longer as she has to be fueled up first. I'm looking forward to flying the airliners, at the moment my company is stuck with about 9 small single prop aircraft and something like 12 pilots. Hmm, I think I need some more planes ![]() ![]() Flying for Landmark Airlines.

Brad,
Is SWA part of the Star Alliance? I know now that average Air Canada B767ER pilot gets paid just over 100,k CAD, Which is equal to a Surgery Doctor over here. Average age of doctors- 35, Average age of pilots -45. ![]() Was your ATPL Exam hard? What has the hardest part? What are the employers concerned most about in terms of knowledge test? I heard they talk a lot about transonic flight, and high speed aerodynamics? How vital is CRM skills for an FO. thanks, Nick |
