Hi all,
I'm really enjoying FSpX and all the new features and voices. Some of them crack me up, LOL...
Anyway, I am finding that the in-flight and end-flight report windows (not the status gauge mind you) is causing havoc with my FSX
screen refresh. When I bring up one of these reports, while I always have FSX in full-screen mode, the screen goes black and locks. I
can sometimes get it to refresh by doing a ctrl-alt-del -> cancel button or with a alt-enter keypress to switch between full-screen and
windowed-screen, but not always. It's almost as if the report window gets burried under the FSX full screen and the GPU driver can't
initialy display the FSpX window on top of FSX. I have tried FSpX in both modal and non-modal modes to no avail. No other add-on does
this to my FSX environment. I am a long-time FS enthusiest and build my own rigs and fluent in all configurations. I have a solid FSXsp2
dedicated rig with a 9800GTX GPU and the Nvidia 180.84 video drivers running Windows XP x64. Since the rig runs flawlessly with really
good FPS, I am really hesitant to change any drivers or configs to accomidate a newly installed add-on and it's associated issue.
My only thought at this point is perhaps the forcing vsync in the GPU driver config could be causing this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
