How will FsP handle when you need to divert for any reason (engine problems, passenger problems etc)?
Will ATC allow you to do this, or do you have to file another flightplan, and will ATC give you priority clearance?
I hesitate beewteen setting light and altimeter penality to "difficult"
or "no penality" by default (the first time you launch FsP)
POLL:
1-Will you fly with altimeter set to difficult or no penality ?
2-Will you fly with light penality set to difficult , simple or no penality ?
Explainaition of those settings:
Realistic light penality: (Works as in real world)
-beacon must be turned ON when an engine is about to be started.
-strobe and landing light must be turned ON when you leave taxi way and enter the landing strip.
-landing light must be turned OFF above FL100 and ON under FL100.
-strobe and landing light must be turned OFF when you enter the taxi way after flight.
-beacon must be turned OFF only after you have shutdown all the Engines.
-nav ligth must be ON during the entire flight.
Simple light penality:
-Landing lights must be turned ON under FL100 and OFF above FL100
No Light penalty:
-No checks are made and you don't get any penalities for inproper light use.
Altimeter realistic penality:
If this option is set to realistic you will have to set you altimeter setting as in reality:
bellow FL180 (18'000 ft) you must ask ATIS station and set it accordingly to the
current pressure, above FL180 you must set it to standart pressure 1013/29.92.
Otherwise FsP don't check and you don't get any penality for inproper use.
I understand that the core of this addon are the passengers and how they survive the flight. I also noticed that there are some airline management
options and i was wondering to which way does it lean more , flying your passengers or managing your airline. I also wanted to know if the managing is
serious as in Airline 6 http://www.airlinesimulation.com/ or more like airline tycoon.
I have been looking for a good Airline management simulation for a long time. Airline 6 seems to be the best in this very narrow selection but it is
just too expensive for me (over 60$).
Being able to fly my own company flight is FS seems wonderful I just wanted to know how "deep" is it going to be in the management dep.
I just realised how often I am checking this web site and forum for this to be released (even knowing I will get a newsletter)
Its GREAT to be looking foreward to something this much...
I feel like a 10 year old waiting for Santa.
Well, my birthday is tomorrow. I don't think my girlfriend could manage to beat this as a gift..
If upon takeoff you rotate too quickly and strike the tail on the runway and damage it, will that show up on the flight report and/or will you
have to pay for those damages and would the insurance rate increase?
Are there penalties for violating restricted airspace, like flying over D.C.? If not, there should be, like, you get a missle up your butt when
you fly over washington D.C. or you get interceptors on your tail if you fly over a restricted military base.
As you know, i'm willing to have a Charter Company...the question is: What happened if everything in my company goes so well, that i.e. I
have a lot of good percentage, so I decide to take a flightwith the Rockwell AC690, which only carries 5 PAX + 2 CREW (Charter
Regulations), so if I have 9 PAX waiting for this flight, so I need to reject 4 of them, beacuse I can't get them in the plane? Or, the
maximum PAX waiting at the gate, will be the maximum that my plane can carry?
Also, in this case my company only operates mostly GA Planes, so at least I need to carry Pilot, Co-pilot, and a crew attendant for specific
flights, can I configurate this, or all the planes in FsP will have a default of i.e. 3 CREW, 4, etc?
Dan, i dont think you should give us a release date and just suprise the flightsim community, even though i cannnot wait for this to come
out myself! Thanks for the Hard work
