Thank you - and a fuel problem

Hi.

Thank you Dan and the team for getting this out for xmas, I'm using it more than the PDMG 777 I got for xmas.....mainly because I'm a 'bus driver and not looking forward
to the conversion over to Boeing lol

I'm using the Areosoft a32x package but when I set the fuel up using my flight plan from PFPX using the airbus built in tool it doesn't go through the the FSPassanger
information page. I can't use the FSP gate loader as it throws the CG well out even with no cargo.

I have just completed a flight from EGLL to EGPH and gained 624kg of fuel with a refund. If there any way to sort this out.

I am currently using the a321-231 IAE and plan to build my fleet to include the a319, a320 (all Areosoft), B777 (PMDG) and when it comes out the B787 (JF) and B744
(PMDG) so I'm mimicking BA, so any advice on the A32X and 777 if problems similar to this are known would be appreciated

What payload models are you using? I have had zero issues using FsP to load fuel on the A18 to A321 series and never tried uploading fuel via the FMC.
Possibly others can chime in to offer their procedures. Actually I have to re-install the Aerosoft Airbus series this evening and will try to check
this for myself tonight or tomorrow.

I'm using the main a321 payload model built into FSP. The reason I use the FMC is because it is easier for me to get an accurate amount and the FMC needs to be loaded
for FS2Crew to work (going of what the manuals say).

Would there be a way of 'reverse' engineering it so FSP takes the fuel reading as the first engine is turned on and use that (to prevent people cheating) as the initial fuel
loaded (so as soon as the master switch is turned on for instance)

I've created a .ini file but FSP doesn't find it. Do I need to start a new company or re-buy the aircraft.

I saved a few different .ini files trying to get it to work. These were all created off the default a321 payload

The names are exactly:

A321 BA
a321-231
a321BA

All I get in the drop down menu is the default A321 and A321 (low cost)

Where am I going wrong?

Mark, maybe I should have clarified my previous statement. Go to the More Downloads section on the left side of this page and search the payload model
section for "Airbus" or "320"....or "321"...or "318",etc. Without the quotes of course. There are a number of payload models you can try out and see
which one(s) best suits your needs. I certainly don't see a need for you to create one of your own. No, you wouldn't need to buy the aircraft again
because of a change in the payload model. Within FsPX you can force a specific payload model as you begin loading a flight....it's in the menu

Where is this menu where you can force a payload. I am looking in the load aircraft screen, clicking on the payload drop down menu, which is where I am only getting the
original 2 a321 profiles.

Going to the flight and aircraft setting menu, click on payload and pax details it shows me a breakdown of how the payload works but no option to force a change.

What am I missing.

Got it, just under the weight and fuel mode selector.

Too focused on the sub menus to spot it

Is cargo linked with reputaion/airport like the pax numbers are? I've always been able to load all the cargo, but now I can't (I have extra space)

You can have as much cargo as you want, rather good for balancing the CoG. Cargo only makes money when it is from 1 airport to another

How do you increase the amount of cargo then?

I set the payload editor up so: front cargo max weight is 2598.0 Z 40.0 Y-6.0
Rear cargo max weight is 14402 Z -25 Y-6.0
so max in total is 17000kg

But when it comes to loading front cargo max load is 1170 and 6530 (7700kg total), hence asking if its linked to reputation and will increase the way pax numbers do

Mark, are you still creating your own payload model instead of trying out various ones in the More Downloads section? I have had zero issues with
several of them from the downloads section. It's quite fine if you are attempting to make one of your own, but I am only trying to save you some headache.

them for others to use
