I purchased FSP several years ago. I also have kept checking for updates and currently have the last revision. The program works fine with some
airports. But, when attempting to load passengers while at gate, or anywhere in the JFK aiport, the program crashes FSX and gets caught in a loop
resetting itself. At other instances, the software completes the flight as it should but when I go to end flight I am given a message that it was a
terrible flight because I didn't purchase FSP. Meanwhile my passkey shows and has been approved each time I reinstall the software to try to rid the
problem. I made a flight that took all day to complete only to get that message which was frustrating and disappointing to say the least.
I am running Windows 7 and I'm aware that the program was not meant to run on Windows 7. But, I have always used it and never had a problem until
now. What causes this? Is there a fix, or something that I can do to correct it. I am flying a PMDG 777-300ERX among other PMDG products.
Lastly, I also started experiencing problems with my PMDG 737-900 WL when using both FSP and FS2Crew. It also began to crash and I cannot use it with
that aircraft either. Additionally, even while flying the FSX airplanes from anywhere in Europe or outside of the US, FSP shuts down in the middle of
the flight making the claim that I have to purchase the software.
This program has a lot of potential and there are many besides myself who are using it and would like to continue to do so. It would be a wonderful
thing if the software developer would consider a revision that would bring the software up to speed with Windows 7 and PMDG and others.
If there is a workaround, patch, or solution to this problem I would like to know about it in order to continue to enjoy the experience. If you
should need any additional information please do not hesitate to ask.
