"Wrong Authorization. Aborting. Please buy FSPax"

Hi all,

For a few days, I have been receiving the error "Wrong authorization. Aborting. Please buy FSPassenger." after a few minutes of flight. My copy of
FSPax (for FS9) was bought in 2006 (18 Nov. 2006) and is completely legal (the staff can check: the email of my Forum account is the one used to
purchase the license). Is there a way to get rid of this message? Do I need to reset my license or something?

Sadly, this seems to crop up once in a while, as not much is known as to why. For now, the only advice I can give you is to back-up your companies,
uninstall FSP and then reinstall FSP.

I just received the same message yesterday. I haven't used this program since last year and decided to get back into it again. I fired it up and
started a short flight. Midway through, the ticker message with the "Wrong Authorization....." scrolled past and I lost my flight data. I messaged
whoever is in charge here with the problem. So instead of waiting, I thought it wouldn't do any harm to simply uninstall and re-install again. Well,
so much for that. Ever since I've done that, i can't get FSX to load up properly.

It would seem once I launch FSX, it brings me to the free flight window as usual with my default plane and location (default Cessna 172 with a cold
and dark setup). Problem is, I don't see any planes in the graphical portion of the interface. Any plane I change it too remains black. I launch a
free flight and it just hangs forever. Once I uninstall, FSX works just fine. Re-install again....it pukes again. So now I have piece of software
that is useless.

Anyone know of a work around for this?? I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. It used to work fine before all this. However, since I installed this thing,
i've added quite a bit of add-ons such as scenery, payware planes including the PMDG 737 etc. I wonder if any of those would be conflicting with the
installation. I wouldn't think it should but, anything is possibly with FSX.

You are correct...anything possible can go wrong with FsPX and Win 7. For some it is hit or miss. I installed FsPX only after a fresh installation of
FSX 2 years ago and installed addon aircraft afterwards with no ill effects. I suppose I am one of the lucky ones.

When you uninstalled FsPX, did you make sure no folder remained in FSX relating to FsPX, and did you reboot your pc after uninstalling it? I'm sure
you did this but it never hurts to ask.
