I think I'm going to uninstall and reinstall FSP. I am having the same problem with the MS default 737-400 that I had with my downloaded
CRJ-700 and CRJ-200 - error boxes, etc (I've posted before about them). But I think I know what my problem is.
I don't really care about the "company" aspect of this. All I ever really wanted was the co-pilot, the crew announcements, serving meals,
the failures, etc. It was nice to see if the flight was profitable or not, or if the pilot got penalized. It was also nice to "climb the ladder",
earning your way from a Piper Cherokee to the big iron. But I didn't like having to build my company fleet, buying aircraft, earning money to
pay for a/c or repairs, etc. So I used that "cheat" about changing empty weight {empty_weight = 0 // (pounds)}, and that seems to be
where I have my problem. I mean, it has to be, right? The default Flight Sim 2004 Boeing 737-400 shouldn't have issues, should it? Yet
it does, and I don't have $45M to buy one straight out.
I guess I'm trying to say I just want to be a pilot, not the company owner. Is it possible to do that with FSP? Or do I have to go through the
$$ hoops? Thanks
Mike
