Good Morning / Afternoon,
I recently did a flight from YPAD to YPDN in the default FSX A321 Airbus. Upon my final approach and near touchdown I get the message
from FSP " the Captain has initiated ( or words to that effect) a missed approach and go around. It then takes over my Aircraft, increases
the throttle and from what I can assume increases my altitude. I say this as I am too busy trying to understand why this has happenned
and unsuccessfully take steps to counteract the takeover. The first time this occurred I managed to save my flaps and gear however, on
the next attempt at landing it was not the case. My speed is also increased to well above the 250 kn maximum under FL100 even though
my Auto throttle is switched off and sitting idle at 160Kn. I had done this landing in the default CRJ7 and 737-800 with no problems many
times in the past. This of course Causes me to exceed the flap and gear speed and end up breaking them. I had done nothing wrong and
was on a perfect approach with full flaps and ready to flare at touchdown.
My system is mid end running XP SP3 and FSX. I also have the latest FSUIPC
The weather at the time was the default Grey and rainy as it had been with my other flights.
I have searched the options and settings withing FSP and can find no option to turn this takeover off. Has any one experienced this and
are there any suggestions. For reference, I don't claim to to be experienced however my last 10 or so flights have been "perfect".
