Hi,

I read a few topics about Crashes To Desktop but I can't find nothing helpful.

Here is my problem : randomly (I can fly 2 hours, then 15 minutes), FSX gives me a fatal error when I try to access the FSPassenger menu. It
tries to load something during about 20 seconds and crashes.

Windows 7 - FSX Acceleration with REX2, Ultimate Trafic 2, FSDiscover, EZCA, PicNic (grass textures) and some extra planes.

Please help

it seems avalibel to me, try it agine, it might have been an issue on simviations side

if it dosent work i can put the fiel on AVSIM, or send it directly to you

Ok my mistake ; a problem with the FTP address.
File is downloaded, I'll try that and report.

EDIT : Hmm I didn't have any UIAutomationCore.dll file before. I copied it anyway.

No crash so far but REX2 gives me errors and the game is very laggy (maybe the two are related)

How do you mean that REX gives you errors? As in when starting REX's weather engine or to create new textures or themes? Did you have the lags before

In fact when I launch FSX, REX weather engine have a windows error "this program must be shut down" but strangely it doesn't, and the
weather engine is still connecting to the game when I play. But I think there is really an error in there and this may cause the lag.

I didn't have UIAutomationCore.dll in my root FSX folder before, and the lag disappears when I delete it.

that is od, you should probly tell the REX guys about it. this is the first im hearing of it.

I find it very odd to have to add a .dll (not here by default) to run FSPassenger... Is there no patch in progress to solve all the problems with
Win7 64b ?

EDIT : So I removed all UIAutomationCore.dll from my computer...

The .dll issue was actually Microsoft themselves releasing a bad version with one of their Windows updates.

As far as a patch goes, there is one planned, but what it contains and when it will be realsed no-one knows - Dan will tell us about it when he's
ready to.
