I love the keyboard shortcuts to set Nav, Com, Heading etc...

I would like one for the ADF and another for Vertical speed... Euh.. Please...

Guess what ? it is what I do for now without keyboard short cut which means

Example set the ADF 345
-Press shift 2 for the radio panel
-$h... On this plane the radio comes with Shift 5
-Find the the ADF display and tuning click point
-Click, click, click... $h... clack, click.... Pfew!! Done !!
- Hey! I don't see anything outside... Then **** 5 again and Shift 3 to close the unwished panel
- Ah... Its was shift 2... then shift 3 and shift 2

When let's tell D will be the short cut, it will be
D0345...
..."Set and check"

As simple as this

OHH LOL. You should make the shorcuts on your joystick, that would be the best thing.

I second Pégase in that wish. The shortcuts are one of those wonderful "little" features that come along with FSP. And not only for
lazy (and sleazy) pilots. Just try to set COMs on Eaglesoft's CitationX panel, you can spend hours to find the tiny hotspots. And when
you've finally managed to set frequency, ATC hands you off....

I'd also like to set the ADF with the touch of a button (much like the COM and NAV radios are now). It'd be nice, but not required. I can do
a little manual labor now and then

Can't beat a good VC, you don't have to remember what button combo brings up what panel that way. Beech A36 with Garmin gauges
forever.

But leazy... oups. LAZY.... sorry, I am born like this and I am affraid it's for all my life. hen I aim to a result, I always try to get it with less
work.

Off course, this is to take as a kind modest wish and no way a requirement. Simply, as I can see how handy are the shortcuts for NAV
and COM. I would also like it for the ADF

I would also like to tune ADF with a shortcut.


However, Vertical speed - not really needed, I think. Better to add a simple "service request" crew-call button like in the other topic.

Also, the Autopilot default rate can be adjusted in aircraft.cfg, [autopilot] section.

I'm with Pax57 on this one. ADF shortcut - great idea. Vertical speed, now as far as possible I try to avoid V/S-Mode anyway (doesn't make for a
smooth ride if you don't adjust it more or less all the time) so a shortcut for that wouldn't be that important to me.
Although it'd come in handy in smaller aircraft with less sophisticated APs.

Thanks for this remind. The default values are usually 1500 or 1800 and it is a bit too sharp. Some planes start oscillations like a row
boat on a rough see. I prefere a default of 500 fpm and encrease manually when apropriate.

Anyway, VS must be adjusted quite often to keep the wished speed. What would be the best to tune the value ?

A true cockpit panel... Would you imagine Brad flying his 737 with a mouse ?
