Flight date

Hi guys,

I have a small problem that is a little annoying. Using FSP for FS9, I am finding that the date on the fight report and the company logbook
does not match the date i set in FS. It is usually a few months earlier, i.e. I set f.e. 30 march 1958, and the report says f.e. 2 December
1957! The difference seems to be random, so I cant fiddle the date to get the one I want.

Any ideas?

You need to go into the FSP general setup and pick an option. I think you will probabably want the "Use FS Date" option; this causes FSP to use the
same date as set in FSP.

Also, there is a bug in FSP for FS9 relating to the date setting and the hemisphere you're flying in (either east or west). I've seen this bug
typically alter the date by no more than 2 weeks or so, and it only occurs in the Eastern hemisphere (i.e. Europe, Africa, Asia). However, the error
might be more severe for "vintage" dates like in the '50s. Try setting the date, and just moving the plane from one hemisphere to another, as the
thread suggests, and check the effect:

Looks like I'm buggered then. I fly F27's, Viscounts and Vanguards out of the UK in the late '50s. Is there no way around this? Is there any
way to manually edit the date in the logbook?

Well, its still workable. Just another bug to live with. Did you actually do the test from the 2nd thread?

I virtually never fly in the here and now and have never seen this issue with FS9 or FsP unless I have input bad data or neglected to
change the date before starting an FsP flight. Sorry.
