[Solved] Emergency MAYDAY- MAYDAY- MAYDAY

I would like to Know. Why when you declare an Emergency, you are not vectored back to the departing airport , or
to the closest airport.
And why are you not able to contact your departing airport and declare your emergency with them. Can someone
tell me if there is a fix in
passengers for this, or is this a problem for microsoft flightsim ( the game itself )

Check out some payware ATC programs like Radar Contact or VOXATC. These programs can give you the option of declaring a emergency
and allow you to and at the nearest airport or a airport of your choice. I use Radar Contact for all of my flights and love it to death. I have heard
VOX is a good program as well.

On a personal note, I can vouch for RC4 bringing you to the closest airport possible in an emergency.
When you declare an emergency on FSP, you also have to declare one for RC4 through its own menu.
Except for WT flights where I love to just keep flying to destination despite what protocols tell me

Where might I ask are these programs located? Radar Contact 4 or VOXATC. I really like having all the goodies in my planes. I like
being able to build my own panels, And add the good things. Like real weather, FSP, Cargo, And alot of other fine options.
