Saftey Message Not Playing in FSPAX for FS9?

FSPax in FS9 again: I copied over my Default folder from a backup I had made of the Crew Pack folder because I had several custom
wavs in it that I wanted to use. And now , of course I seem to have gummed something up and it appears my crew2_safetyaboard.wav file isn't being triggered to play any more when I taxi. The stewardess plays her doors are now closed/welcome aboard first message and all of the functionality of FSPax remains working all thoughout my flight but then I never hear from her again.

I just got everything working again and I rather not do ANOTHER reinstall so I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a cfg. file I
need to look at or a command file I may have messed up that perhaps I can fix or copy over from my last backup. I'd really appreciate it if
anyone could help. If a reinstall is required I'll do it, but I'd rather not for a myriad of reasons.

Chuck,

You may want to verify that the .wav file which you are having a problem with is spelled correctly. I am guessing that if this file isn't spelled
exactly like the default, you won't hear it.

Thanks for replying, Jeff. I thought that might be the problem, too, but it is spelled correctly. It's like FSPax FS9 isn't auto-detecting my
plane starting to taxi any more. All other announcements play on time and correctly just like always.

Is there a hotkey I can set up to manually trigger the cabin safety announcement?

You'll have to forgive my lack of knowledge when it comes to the FS9 version of FsP but is there more than one voice pack that you can
use to double check to see if the crew2_safetyaboard.wav plays there? There may be only one English VP for FsP, not sure. The way it
seems to work in FsPX is that the flight attendant makes her first announcement and then after a small time delay, she makes the
announcement you are referring to.

It works with the default file. My replacement wav file is almost 50 megs -- I wonder if there's a file size limit FS Pax looks to, or else it
won't load the next event. This is really weird because this file worked for months on my old install.

No, crew2_safetyaboard.wav, or something like that. I got it to work -- I converted it to mono, 8 bit 64k hertz and 8 bit PCM, which also
brought the file size down from about 50 megs to a little over 11 megs. Any of those changes might have done the trick, but most likely it
was the change from native stereo to mono and down to 8 bit PCM from 32 bit float that was really needed.
