Lost my key

Hello all !

I purchased FSP when it was released, unfortunately, I experienced a HDD crash and lost the key product.
I asked 4-5 times to the FSP support to retrieve my key about 14 days ago, Still no answer ....

Please FSP don't complain with the other companies about product piracy !!!

Still hoping I can get my key again.

FsP is created by one person and he probably recieves a lot of e-mails every day.

If you don't recieve any answer then the FSP Forum is ofcourse the place to go where there are kind moderators and users who are willing to help with
your problems.

You might want to edit the title of this topic as it doesn't seem very friendly and we would like to keep this forum friendly.

I don't get it. The only place I thought you may have obtained your FsP license is simmarket. If I'm right, you should contact simmarket's customer
support to retrieve your product code. Based on some minimum amount of information (name, when did you buy it, credit card number, etc.) they should
be able to identify your order/payment...

Hello all !

Problem solved, thx to Dan.

For the others, I am not yelling ! I am only a bit nervous because I buy all my FS addons (don't go into emule, etc... business).
I could have the code from friends, I didn't ask for it. I asked a couple of time the support to get my codes back and got no sign of life.

I apologize for the words I wrote on the forum but here is the result, i got my codes back the next morning.

Okay, everybody is allowed to be busy but I think a small mail to the customer to say that your problem will be solved soon is friendly.
I don't know, I run a company and that is the way I work.

Anyway, sorry for my words and many thanks to Dan again.

I understand your frustration, but in future I would suggest peeps to submit a post on this forum if they do not immediately receive a reply.

Indeed, we have other ways of contacting Dan who, as you are most probably aware, is devoting most of his time to developing the FSX release.

Agreed, Dan IS a Single Point of Contact, but then I doubt anyone would be prepared to pay a premium to finance a support organization, would they?

Also: the fact that you actually DO have a possibility to request a lost key should not be taken for granted.

On the positive side, I've "heard" that the "lost key retrieval" procedure is being reworked. In other words: you can expect such issues to be dealt
with more efficiently within the near future.

I would be the first to earn a support team to take care of customers but if you ask me we don't have even a cents left in bank
currenlty, so I'm sorry about those support issue.

I devote almost 12h-14h per day to FsPX... (et je vais avoir besoin de calmants d'ici peu but once released I'll write more script to deal
automatically with such "unlock code" issue so you can get instant reply.

Things are not perfect but they are getting better

I write from time to time to http://www.pilote-virtuel.com and http://libertysim.net in FsPassengers thread but the lack of reaction is
somewhat discouraging... I had more on francesim when I was develloping FsPassengers 04 wich was perfectly unknow at this time..

I'ts me or peoples are less enthousiast to involve themself in forums in 2008 ?
many lurker but less writter I would say. (I see that on several forums)
