Hello,
I was wondering if anyone might be able to give me some concrete advice on a problem I seem to be having with FsP flights in and out of
Mumbai International Airport (VABB). I've downloaded a great freeware scenery for it (I believe by Matthew Ministry and Manu Mistry) which
is really great and good on the FPS (as long as you remove one or two of the .bgl files for the surrunding areas). But problem with FsP
flights is this; depending on where you deplane/load on the tarmac, the arrival/departure airport comes up as blank. Then, if I've chosen
my destination (as I always do) I get a penalty for not arriving at the scheduled airport. So it seems that FsP does not recognize certain
parts of the airport. Moving those .bgl files back and forth did not seem to help.
One thing I did notice was that on taxying with an FsP loaded plane, certain parts of the airport trigger the 'off tarmac' sound effect. SO I
created a flatten file for the entire area, but it still seemed to do no good.
How does FsP determine what airport I;m at (it takes it off the GPS, does it not?) and what might be causing this? MOre importantly, how
might I resolve the issue? Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
