Everything LOST

Gidday all
I was doing a flight YSSY->NFFN all was well was on approach when we had a BLACK OUT!(our street lost power for 30mins) losing my
4hr flight an everything..
Now when i say EVERYTHING i mean EVERYTHING i had some 50 odd flights a booming company an my company REP was at 95%
Now i have nothing, nutta, ZIP!
Ive tried a system restore taking me back to yesterday where everything was fine.. and still my company is LOST vanished my fleet my
pilots EVERYTHING.. Im posting here too see if you guys the creators have something for me that could possibly bring all my lost data
back..

I sincerly hope you's can help.. As starting a new company is pretty much simply out of the question i put far to many hours into making
that cpmpany great..

Um, you should have backed up? The power failure may have caused corruption to the database. Do you still have your database files?

Backed up! How was i to know there was going to be a power failure!

Look into FsPassengers/database folder if you still have some files
and tell me what you have exactly...

I took a screen shot rather than explain an get confused with what i have an now probably dont have.. lol


An i have exported all my flights to my VA (Ansett Australia Virtual) aswell.. if that help any..??

Well, it looks like you still have your files. There is a possibility, and I stress, possibility, of recovering your data. Next time, backup. As
you've said yourself, you didn't know that there was going to be a power failure. Unfortunately, we can't schedule data disasters, so, next
time, you should make a copy of the database, say, weekly, and store the copy in a safe place.

It miss at least one important file:
FsPFb.db

Try to recover it with XP tool.. I know at least one user got all his flight back
using such tool.

Sorry I don't have any clue, perhaps restore point or something like that,
I know one user had disk problems and loose some file and he was able
to recover them...

I think you mean system restore, I don't think that will recover a lost FSP database though......

You could try to check your harddisk for errors. There's a tool built in Windows for that. Just right-click on the harddisk ( In windows, not on the
physical drive itself off course) and go to "properties". there should be a tab called "tools", and you will need the first option in that tab. Make
sure you put both checkmarks there otherwise it just looks and doesn't repair anything. You can get a message about a "locked drive" or a "drive is in
use", in which case windows offers to scan the drive at the next reboot. If so, just reboot the PC.

It might take a while but usually it gets the job done.

Right I think it's the disk check that can convert lost chunk in file...
the guy got back his file but with name like "file0001.chk"

Sorry bout the delay getting back to you's been flat out at work we've had 2 767-300's come in an S@%TS been crazy!! but nah ive had no
joy.. In retreiving ANYTHING!!

Although i have recently purchesed a CH flight yoke (thanx to massive overtime!!)
So im gunna be starting from scratch again but this time my company will be flown "with in the yoke era" lol
Thanx for all for tryin to help it was a massive loss but... Aghhhh what can you do!
(seems as though my tone has changed to my 1st post huh!) LOL!!!

I jsut would like to pass a single comment,

It is the rule in the computing world to backup, even cd's are not enough so have multiple ciopies and yes your tone seems better now
matye as before you were like making the fs pax team look guilty for somethingthey did not do as they have no control over power losses
etcc. Sorry If I sound a bit rude but I am realxed here erading the forum so don't worry
