Ok, Drew. This is a reasonable work-around.
I like the idea of penalties and bonuses, as it adds "gravity" and a sense of responsibility to one's flight. I suppose there are some folks who might
consider that a pilot, following a valid flight plan could depart Athens, bound for Paris and "accidentally" arrive at Amsterdam. . . . . . I'm just
not one of them and don't want to be irrevocably penalized for a genuine programming - or operator (me) - mistake, whether Microsoft or
FS Passengers.
I'm fairly new to fully integrating ASv6, FSNav, FlightDeck Crew and FS Passengers (and a 727 flown by the book), into one consistent, moderately
complex, flying environment, so please forgive my not fully reading the rtf's that are included in the package. I will leave it blank if that's what I
have to do. There's something I thought about in the middle of the night: I didn't re-create the database after installing Gary Widup's KSLC package.
After landing on 16L I expected to be directed west - to the airports main terminal: I wasn't, and was directed instead east to a large open pan, with
only one or two MS "block" buildings. I considered something wrong at that moment, but continued, unloaded and ended the flight with the "bad" report.
I will re-run the db creator and re-fly the route and see what happens. Do you know if it is actually neccessary to run the creator following a
new scenery install?
Thanks again,
Regards,
pj
