Hello everybody,
don't be worried when reading the header of this topic. I already read the FAQ and how to solve this problem but thinking about this I'm not 100%
confirm with its result. So let me please explain what I've found out and may be you can help me.
I also have had the problem of getting pilots penalties ppints if I landed at wrong destinations. I got these penalties at different destinations like
EDDB, EDDF and LOWW. You may sure I made a correct flight planning with correct ICAO-codes of departure and arrival destinations. After touchdown on
the correct runway and being advised by ATC to taxi to the (IFR) gate, finishing the flight and ending the FsP-flightreport I got always the
information of having landed at a wrong destination (sometimes). You also may be sure for 100 % that I landed at he correct airport.
So to find out what are the causes for these penalties I made once again flights to these destinations with the same result of penalties.
In FAQ it is written FsP is asking FS9 GPS about the closest airport when ending the flight. But what to do? Taxing to another gate of my own choice?
100% unrealistic and for being unrealistic I don't need a program/add-on like FsP (FsP shall give us more realistic feeling, isn't it?).
When parking at the correct destination i.e. LOWW gate 53 you will have no penalty, parking and ending the flight at gate 7 you get penalty-points. I
also found out that "wrong" destinations are always helipads like JFLW at LOWW, JFDT and JFDT at EDDB and so on. Next I found out is that this problem
is in connection with the another add-on TRAFFIC 2005 of Justflight. I suppose this add-on installed these helipad destinations.
So my question is: What to do? How can I remove destinations i.e. helipads, which I don't want to have in my FS-world? Or, what FsP can do to find out
the correct destination? My meaning is, FsP is not working 100% correct and so we have to try to correct the program and not the FS-world?
I'm eagerly waiting for an answer.
So long, greetings Hermann.
P.S. I beg your pardon for my bad English, but I'm not a native british or american citizen. So don't be angry with me if I wrote anything which could
sound like a personal attack for someone. I'm not meaning it so. I'm only fighting for the facts and a good program which I like very much.
