Sudden problem with licence

During past two flights, in the middle of the flight I get the message that FSP will exit and I need to buy FSP.
FSPassengers also disappear from the FS menu. When I restart the sim, all is OK, but only for some time...
Before I try to reinstall, I'd like Dan to tell me so - I'm a bit paranoid about loosing the data.

You shouldn't be worried about losing all the data. I usually just backup all the FsPassengers folder. And after installing FsP again and registering
it, I copy the contents of the "Database" folder in again (this is where your company, pilot and flight info is located). And I also copy the the
"config" folder, so I don't have to configure the settings all over again. And if you have alot of payload addons, I would also copy the "Payloads" folder
But the Database folder is the important one.

Thanx Runi, I've said that cause I've learnt the lesson the hard way!

Anyway, Dan, I have reinstalled and still I get the message "Wrong authorization, please buy FSP"
What else can I try?

Could the reason be the fact that I have changed hard disk (where FSP and FS9 is installed) from FAT32 to NTFS?
That's the only change I've made recently??? If so, it affected FSP only!?

it may affect the protection on the fsp folders. just backup the database folder (and config/payload if you want) reinstall - unlock and copy
back the folders

Thanks! But have already tryed and didn't help. Seems like I will have to uninstall and reinstall. The problem is I will first have to find the
code. I DID make the backup. I even wrote it down on a piece of paper like Dan suggested. The problem is to find the cd and/or that paper!
(I have soooo many cd's, and never took the time to catalog them with "where is it")

It's somewhere "under the roof" allright, but somehow that doesn't comfort me. I guess you wouldn't call me tidy?
I guess I have better chances if I send Dan an e-mail? Luckily I still know the data I made my purchase with. And I still remember my name.
So far... I better hurry while I still do!

My advise:

simple:
----------
install again FsP over your current installation-> unlock FSP.

if it doesn't work:
----------------------
Save "database" folder you may also save "config" folder "sound/crewpack" and "payload_model" folder.
Uninstall FsP reinstall it, copy back the saved folder, unlock with your unlock code
that should solve the problem. fat->ntfs is certainly the root cause.

Take care to do procedure above just after a fresh boot before you launch anything.
