Something you should think about fixing?

Ok this is going to be a hard problem to tackel. Simfly airports. These airports are so well done its hard not to fly with out them. These
airports are to scale. I am getting commentsabout horible landings because I over ran the runway buy 116ft. However what actually
happened was that I landed dead centerline and was able to exit at the first taxiway. rwy7L at KPHX. I am sure it has something to do with
the fact that your addon is measuring the old KPHX by MS, an that my new airports rwy is slightly Esat or West and that means that FSP
thinks I overran the rwy. I believe these airports are going to be very popular. just bought 12 of them. There must be away to edit these
but I am terrible at going into cfg files and getting right. maybe you guys should buy one of these, my suggestion as it is the most recent
and best so far. I have not installed the others yet. Maybe in the future you could make a program where you can check off which airports
you have and FSP adjuts for that mmmmmm but Simfly is not the only ones out there making airports and does that mean that you have
to do this for everyone? That would clearly not be good. So mmmmmmm maybe you can figure out how we can fix it and then post a
tutorial yup I think that would do it. Not really what I want cause like I said I am not good at screwing around with CFG files took me a long
time just get the payload thing down still workig on making that work better but I am learning. Anuwau what do you think is the best
solution here. I just bought KLAX, KSFO, KPHX, KLAS, KDFW, KIAH, KATL, KMCO, KIAD, KEWR, KJFK, KORD, guys this is a lot of airports
and I want to be able to use them with your program so Iam hopeing that you can give me an idea what can be done. Of course if its
something that is to hard for me to fix there are lots of other airports to use with FSP and I might just have to settle for that.

2 options....

1. Turn off the penalty (yes unrealistic, as you can then land anywhere you want without penalty)

2. Modify the Afcad files, so that FS knows where the new runways are. (i believe FsP takes where the runways are placed from FS) You can download a tool to do this, but i have never done it, so can't give help on how to do it.

See the problem is that I have all these fields as well and even the others of them that you have not mentioned and without tweaking or
anything I have NEVER had any problems with these fields EVER. I AM assuming that you have installed the recommened AFCADS by
Simflyers ?

This problem has been discussed many times, even in early beta testing.

The issue is not an FsP issue: FsP doesn't take in account FS values, it takes the data from the "surface declaration" of the airport.

It's an airport designer issue: Sometimes, they misdeclare the "surface" of the runway: so you "see" a runway, but for FS2004 it's not a
runway. Why they do this that way? Because usually, with most addons, it has no impact.

First let me say two things, 1) thanks for all the help and 2) in case anyone is wondering I did a search on this before I posted but the
search only brought up one response that was not much help mmmmmm and a third thing after I read my message it certainly looks like
I felt this was strictly an FSP problem. I should have stated that I did not really know where the problem was because I don't want people
thinking that I am displeased in anyway with my purchase of FSP actually if anything FSP has done a lot to one giving me goals to work
for and made me a better pilot. I even find my self turning on landing lights for T / O out of habit lol when I am not using FSP just flying
around. Ok that said, there is a lot of help here and it will take some time to go through it all.

JayKae thanks I complety missesd those I was in such a hurry during Christmas to get the airports DLed. I am back at work in IRAQ now
and my download ability is quite limited. Usualy means I have to bribe someone with an administrators computer with a case of cokes or
such to be able to download, but I cabn get it done. I will take care of that stuff first and I will read the forum stuff now that PAGIR has
pointed me in the right direction. I will get back when all is complete.

I only get 15-20 min on these company computers so got to go
