The best plane has it's little bugs:
after a long flight from Cabo Verde to Brazil, I land and, for the first time with my 707, I unboard very satisfied passengers (I downloaded the patch
solving the shaky AP ).
During the unboarding, I go to the FE lower panel to stop the engines. As I like hearing the sound of the four engines stopping one after the other, I
open a second external view and stop the engines, close the external view. No problem.
Then I switch to the main panel... FATAL MISTAKE !!!!
For a short while I see the external view with my plane "dropped" from some tenth centimeters on the parking and hear the FO notifying about the door
open (off course the passengers where unboarding...)
So, FsPassengers took the erratic bounce as part of the flight and applied the following penalities:
Strobes and landing lights switched off , door open and no mayday call, just that during the "flight" at 20 cm AGL above the parking
(the beacon fault is real, at departure, I disconnected the external power source before tying the generators on the bus.)
I know that bouncing planes bugs have nothging to do wit FsP, however, may be Dan, you can help by
countig the opened door fault only after a couple of seconds and, or ignore the plane altitude change when the GS is 0 and passengers in
(un)boarding steps ?
This would save us from others frustrating results like below:
NB: I however agree with one thing in this F..@!!#& report : "There was an exceptional pilot on board"
Flight EX089 flight report log Date November 04 2005
