Touching down above the runway?

Firstly, I'd just like to express my greatest thanks for FSPassengers. It has got to be one of the best things I've bought for FS.

However, I do have a problem during landing. When I'm about to flare about 20 ft above the runway, the 'ground roll' sound starts to play.
In the flight report at the end i'm getting touchdown VS's of about 250 fpm, which is acceptable, but I know my touchdown wasn't that hard.

Basically, FSPassengers believes the runway is about 10-20 ft above the physical FS runway. That's what I think anyway. Weird...

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hmmm I havent had this problem myself. Are you landing at an airport that is addon scenery or is it default? Every airport you land at?

I have only noticed it at airports with add-on scenery, but most of the airports that I fly to on British Airways Virtual I have purchased
scenery for. Meaning I don't often fly to default airports.

It happens at:

OSS London Gatwick
Heathrow Pro
Sim-Wings Scenery (so far - Malaga, Sevilla, Palma de Mallorca, Menorca)

It didn't used to happen with these sceneries though. It seemed to begin after the latest update.

Hello ,

this is a scenery problem, FsP don't do the detection himself he simply
ask the "are we on ground?" value of Fs2004...

I'm a bit miffed though, because its never happened before since I bought it, and I have used Heathrow before without problems.

FsP shouldnt have any effect on add-on sceneries, if anything, it will show some errors within such sceneries and how they are laid out
such as seeing runways as normal, but the AFCAD file is wrong and the devs didnt make the runway concrete but instead left them as
grass, or didnt make them long enough.

It might be a contact points issue aalso with the aircraft and the scenery addon

Might want to try external view landing with and without FsP and see if your wheels touch ground upon landing

When i'm flaring the FSPassengers ground roll sound will play, but I still descend further until I hear the touchdown sound of the plane.
This is when the plane actually does hit the runway...

If the sound is starting too early maybe turn it all the way down so it doesnt effect your landing but it sounds as though FsP and the
addons are conflicting on where the ground is but then the roll effect is part of FsP so not using FsP would mean I think that you wouldnt
have had this issue before using the FsP add-on.

I think i'll just do that. The only problem is, FSP records my touchdown VS above the runway.

Just to clarify, I have used FSP, Heathrow and the iFDG A320 all at the same time prior to the update without this happening. Sorry, I've
been a right pest!

you could pinpoint where you';re touching down and change the afcad file and change the runways elevation?

I know whats wrong its the contact points of your ifdg A320 had the same thing its not a scenary problem i have however fixed this issue if you like
try these in your aircraft cfg back up the old first
