Hard landing in real time but crashed in instant replay!!

Last night, I flew an MD 11 from KLAS to KPHX using FS Passengers, Active Sky5 and Radar Contact. All was fine until the landing at
KPHX. I was sequenced for final behind a Southwest 737 and just before touchdown , experienced some severe wake turbulence
generated by Active Sky 5. As a result, the landing was hard and I was reminded of that fact by the co-pilot who made a wisecrack about
bending the struts or something ;-)

After clearing the runway, I wanted to see just how bad the landing was and started up the "instant replay" function of FS9. Well, in instant
replay, I crashed killing half of the passengers, but I and the flight crew survivived!!

Anyone else had this experience and how do you avoid it in the future!! ( I guess by not watching instant replay!!)

I only watch instant replay when FSP is finished and yes sometimes I have to go back 600 to 800 secs to see the landing.
The replay feature is to buggie .

Hmmm when I do a replay I get a message that FsP has paused for replay mode.

FsP don't do any check himself when replay mode is activated (main loop bypassed)...
now if Fs2004 mistaken crash during the replay there is nothing that FsP can do...
this is a Fs2004 bug (notice I never had any replay crash myself but who know ?
sometime Fs9 seem to have it's own life)

So, what actually happened? Did you crash on landing DURING the instant replay (meaning the aircraft visually crashed during the
replay), or did you crash outside of the replay while watching it (as Dan suggested, I believe)? I think you're describing the latter. Always
be sure to pause FSP and FS9 while watching a replay (or wait till you're safetly parked at the gate to watch it). You're not going to simply
have a hard landing in FS, then crash in FSP while watching a replay. As Dan mentioned, FSP does not detect that replay mode is
running (and as such, has no effect on the sim during the replay). Keep in mind that the aircraft can CRASH (or something can collide
with you) while you're distracted watching a replay, and still taxiing or flying around. Make sense? It's somewhat hard to explain!
