Heya Martyn,
Thanks for responding. It says to empty the cache in my browser and download again or it will just keep finding an empty folder.

You should launch Internet explorer,
in internet explorer: -go to tool -click "internet option" -under "temporary internet file" click on "delete files" explaination: for any reason the first download went bad, you have only a part of the file, now when you try to download it again internet explorer detect that it have this file in its cache and send you always the same broken version from its cache instead of the new one from the site. Hope it help ? Dan

It's been said many times that the level of support provided by the FsP crew is a definite plus; if we start biting noobs' heads off and having them for breakfast, we'll just become "yet another FlightSim forum". Just a couple of cents from "the admin of another (non-FS related) forum". Post Edited ( 09-07-05 17:37 )

I usually don't defend mods but he probably didn't read the subject of the post and went directly to the content....

Quote:Zcat is a customer who is trying to perform an update...... Fully agree, too fly FsP we need a wreking Computer, A running Operating System, an internet connexion and download tool, FS 2004 and ... off course FsP. To reach the 5th floor, it is usually needed to reach the 4th and before, the 3th..... So, soon or late ANY of us may need an help about a step before FSP or even FS2004. After all, when one of us can help where is the problem ?

Wait a minute... I think it was my mistake then! I thought you were having a problem with your internet browser, not FS9 or FSP... I stand
corrected!

I am having the same problem,
Just downloaded latest version, Ran the install, backed up directory, then I get the cache full message after a long pause at end of installation. I have deleted all files in explorer tools, tried to download again, Same problem?????

It could be a problem with a full page file (from my experience this has caused similiar issues). Are you attempting the install on a clean-
boot? If not, that might be the problem.

Tried again this morning after a clean reboot, and cleaning up temp files again.
Still the same error. I then downloaded the zipped version, and it all installed fine. ?
