Emergency situation

Hello,

I had last time situation that caused electrical problems - no radio, no gps etc.
I have declared an emergency but... after a while I also lost controls under airplane.

My questions start after "no radio, no gps etc. I have declared an emergency but " :
What in that kind of situation? There is no possibility to communicate with any airport etc. What next? Land without notification at closest airport ? Give any "smoke signs"?
or maybe wave a flag from window?

Find the nearest suitable landing spot and hope for the best That has been the case in too many real world events as well.

suitable runway or do I have to stick to active? (in case of no radio)

Whats more, what after belly landing? I finish flight and does FSP transports my aircraft or do I have to buy totally new?


I just don't know any of emergency procedures at all! ( total "emergency noob")

You have to be careful about which transponder code you put in but you should read the documentation that comes with the software
When declaring an emergency via FsP, you will not get penalized for landing on a grass strip or some other air field that isn't your planned
destination. Just as long as you land the aircraft safely, you will garner alot of points and money typically.

Even after a belly landing I always set the parking brake anyway so that FsP knows I'm ending the flight. You can either repair the aircraft (which
will be hugely expensive) or sell it and buy a new one. If you repair and don't have enough company funds to repair, insurance is there to take care
of it, but there is a down side. Insurance costs go up, so use this option carefully.

Adrian, without sounding too terse, I did give you a straight answer. I do suggest that you read all documentation provided.

No, you don't have to set a transponder code if you don't want to. FsP is not going to ding you on points if you land at another airport as long as
you declare an emergency within FsP. As far as ATC goes, I wouldn't spend much time worrying about ATC during an emergency...unless you are that hung
up about what ATC wants you to do. In an emergency, you fly the airplane first....navigate then communicate.

As stated previously, land at the nearest suitable airport. Land on any runway of your choosing.

As a side note, whenever you have a power outage (obviously depending on your airplane) try every other source of juice. Rest the generator, go to
secondary bus, turn on the APU. Also, I'm pretty sure the radio will work as long as the battery is on.

if I understand, you are asking what happens in Real Life with no ground coms?

In the real world, the pilot would turn the transponder to 7600 (this is the code for no communications) then fly to the nearest appropriate
airfield and circle the airport while looking for light gun signals from the control tower.

Blinking green means cleared to land. Blinking red means go away, airport is not safe for landing. Steady red means not cleared to land,
keep circling the airfield, and finally alternating red and green flashes means proceed, but with extreme caution.

I THINK that's right, I may be off on exactly which light gun signals mean what, a google search could tell you more.
