My Intro

Hey Forums!

Just thought I'd join the forums after a couple months of coming here and reading on and off. I can tell you guys are a GREAT community to talk with
and very supportive and every single aspect of life, and that's just awesome.

I've been flying flight sim for about 3 years now and enjoyed every bit of it (even the times where I would screw up completely in a 747, when I
hadn't even mastered something like the 172 yet (: ). I've probably been using FsPassengers for about 1 1/2 years now, and it's an awesome add-on.
I'm taking my current pilot hopefully all the way to flying legend some day, and right now am at the rank C4 or C5, not quite sure. It's so low,
because I switched computers and created new pilots and such in that time frame.

In real life, I'm very passionate about flying, and have just completed ground school! I hope someday to fly for Southwest, even though I might need
some years in other jobs just to get the hours needed to apply . I have flown a Cessna 172 a bit, and enjoyed that every minute of that for obvious
reasons. Oh, and one other thing...I'm 14.

Trust me, I'm not one of those big headed bragging teenagers who is really annoying. I have a passion for aviation, and just thought a way to discuss
would be on these forums!

also im gonna be going into flight school myselft, i like flying ever since i flew on my first flight on a westjet plane

It might not be that active, but that's good and bad in my opinion.

im 21. and i plan on takeing my check ride for privet pilot license this saturday. In a C172 with G1000 avionics. Welcome to our buddy club

My worst check-ride ever was for my initial instrument rating. I was having "one of those BAD days". Couldn't find my ass with both hands,
to wit, I couldn't do intersection holding or ADF holding to save my life. I knew I had blown the ride so I told the IP "screw it, I can't, I'll talk
you through it". After fixing the holding problems I took over and did the approaches. He passed me because he said it is just as smart
to know that you are messed up as to do it right.
If you fly every time like it was a check-ride you'll do well.

@ Apache....I feared flying those arcs in windy conditions during my Instrument checkride.....I hated flying those things. But, the guy who gave me
the Private check ride was the same one for my Instrument ride....I felt at ease enough to get through those arcs without much of a problem. I'd
rather have that sort of check ride than the ones I get at Flight Safety each year for the C208

no guarantes on pictures. my flight school useally post the news on thire face book when someone passes. Im confident, i know im ready, and i am
very well prepared. My instructor says ill pass it no problem. hes also commented that flying with me was like flying with the autopilot.

but thanks for the wishes. the "check-its" havent gotten to me.... yet.
