Tell what kind of crashes you have had with FSPAX.
My first crash was when landing to Tegucigalpa, Toncontin Intl airport. Its known to have hard approach and short runway (though in real life its
longer and less hard now, but I have addon from LatinVFR where its still like it was some years back). Anyway it was my first landing there, plane
was 757-200 from Qualitywings. I was coming in bit too high and with a bit too high speed, but I did not see end of the runway because of some
clouds there, so I just thought that there is enough of it left. Soon after touching down I ran into that cloud, kept braking, then suddendly I saw end
of the runway. Tried to do go around but my speed was too slow and ran out of the runway, crashes and some pax died. After this I have landed
there few times with 757, second time I almost overran it again when my autobrake did not apply and I did not notice it very quickly, but managed to
turn to taxiway from high speed at far end of the runway.
Second time was when flying old and ruined Captain Sim 707 Cargo in Afghanistan. On my first try to fly from Bagram Air base to Kandahar I got
rapid decompression, and diverted to Kabul. Then repaired aircraft, and on second try I got electrical failure. However I thought that it was nothing
too serious and continued to hand fly towards Kandahar. However when descending I found that for some reason with CS aircraft it also breaks
some of your hydraulics, I lost my flaps, normal gear deployment and spoilers. I managed to manually lower my gear, and was approaching
Kandahar without flaps (which of course means higher speed) when suddenly one of my engines was shot and flamed out. So, I landed with high
speed, only 3 engines operating, no flaps no spoilers and slippery runway because of winter time. First speed seemed to slow down a bit, but then
it just started sliding and I ran out of the runway. Pilots got injured and plane lost. Anyway this was first time in my FSPAX flying history where I felt
that I could not have done much better than that. Because of interesting moments like this I like FSpax so much.
