manual gear extension after gear failure

Hello I have been using FSp for a long time now and can't even think about flying without it. I have suffered many failures since I have been using
it. The one that bugs me the most is a gear failure. The failure is not what bugs me it's the fact that I cant extend the gear manually. I fly
everything from 737's - 380's. If I am not mistaken these types of planes have a manual gear release. However if I have a gear failure using fspax I
can't do ctrl+G the manually extend the gear. Is there something I can edit to allow this? I hate writing off new A/C because I had a beely landing
because I cant extend the gear with the back up.

You have to hold the Ctrl key while repeatedly tapping the G key. I like to go to spot view when I do this to watch on progress.

ok thanks I will try that next time. I never tried tapping the G key. I just always held ctrl and G.

Ok I was flying us Air 2168 from DCA - LGA. I had a gear failure I held ctrl and tapped G and then tried holding ctrl + G. The gear did not drop so
that does not work lol. Bright side is I did a beautiful belly landing, closed LGA, and totaled a A319. oh well all in a days work.

I haven't had a gear failure in a year and you have them all the time. Are you keeping up with your maintenance?

Yes. I normally do the maintenance after every few flights. I have my failure setting kinda high I guess.
