I love FSPAX, but I'm sorry I just cant stand that annoying English or Austrailian accent that she has it drives me bonkers! Is there a way to
get an American or Spanish one?

Great product :-) cant stop flying with it! One more question: When I fly AA, they say "We will now begin our food service distribution, you
can purchase a snack box for $5" or "Ladies and Gentlemen the Captain how now begun the final descent into the Dallas Fort Worth
area."

Is there a way to make new voicepacks?

Then I guess your out of luck. Dan can't fill everyones special request, and can't make a new voicepack just for one person to enjoy.
It's quite simple to make yourself, and you could buy a microphone for about $10.

What are you doing flying American? lol. I'll get you a cheaper rate to Dallas any day, and we'll have better service!

LOL once #1 always #1 thats why i love AA :-) and Southwest I'd have to fly from ISP-BWI-DAL-ELP too many stops.. Southwest is nice I
have to say but Ive experienced too many cancellations and delays :-(

I think Zig Ziglar's who did the best job at putting cancellations and delays into perspective:

Why the hell would you want to be up there when the flight is delayed by one of three things: 1- there's something wrong with the aircraft, 2-there's
something wrong with the pilot or 3-there's something wrong with the weather?

Kelp2006, you can get a microphone for 1$ at the Dollar Store... you can't beat that!

Also, if a microphone is not an option for you, you could also look at getting a PDA or a digital recorder. Some Palms record straight into wav and
then you just have to transfer the files to your PC.

I don't remember... is it American Airlines or Southwest Airlines that consistently wins the triple crown award, and has 97% on time
performance? Is it American Airlines or Southwest Airlines that actually has made a profit every year since their incorporation? Which
one is in bankrupcy court protection? Which one has more customer complaints? Which was has better service and less expensive
fares?

I don't mean to get too heated, it's just that American is one of the few airlines that actually pisses me off. If you know the stories of
their many battles with Southwest, you'd know where I'm coming from.

It's very weird that you've experienced more delays and cancellations with SWA than AA. In the Dallas area alone, Southwest serves
Love Field virtually delay free, while AA is at DFW, and I'm sure you know the story up there.

Do you live in ELP? I'm just up the road in ABQ. Next time I'm in ELP, maybe I could get you a tour of the flight deck or something
(yeah, right... just remembered about the security you civvies have to go through!)

Lol. Do you mean that we're a cocky lot? That we have big egos? I think so! lol. You would to if you are constantly placed in charge of
137 lives, and you constantly take excellent care of those people with constant on-time service, and constant passenger satisfaction. lol.

I am a private pilot and although I ONLY have 3 lives to worry about, the responsibilty is the same. In fact when I drive to the airport I also
take responsibilty for their safety.
I think you have done a marvelous job here with the support and giving us the benefit of your real life experience has also been beneficial.
BUT from experience, Airline pilots have a bigger ego than Mariah Carey throwing a strop. :-)....

dont go about deleting posts when someone mentions a dislike or something. not good form & will cause a lot of peops not to be open
with their thoughts here.
i've lived in australia & the one thing that really annoys me is to listen to american tv commercials where the person is trying to imitate an
aussie voice. really grating. my point is that some 'voices' can tick one off if it gets on one enough.
each sound has a positive, neutral, or negative resonance on the person hearing or listening to it. there cant be much accounting for
taste, everyone has their own & they shouldnt have to defend it.

sharon's voice is pleasant to the vast majority of us users. she should take great comfort in that but there is seldom 100% acceptance of
anything. to those who dont enjoy they can either figure how to make their own english-lang default, use one of the non-english defaults,
or go without voice in fspassengers all together. the prog is flexible enough for one to generate voice of a cartoon-characters in their
cockpit if they have the resources & effort so to do.

Hi there guys,

I don't think that the British would be very happy to read what you've just wrote ;-).
In my personal oppinion, I'd rather hear british accent than the lazy american one as in the greatest aircraft Boeing 737-400 addon.
Remember that Flying attendand saying:
Would you like some coooooofeeee captain ??? Lol

Don't get offended but this addon is made here in Europe so I am happy to hear European accents, well, apart of the australian one.
Don't you think that is too much american accent everywhere??

I think you mean: "Captain, da ya want some coofeeee?"



But, quite frankly, even that is better then French Canadians like Pagir and I speaking English
