My system: FSX,PMDG-B-747,Saitek Yoke and rudder pedals,FSUIPC,
and FSPassengers
Using FSUIPC I programmed 2 buttons of my yoke. One to connect and
disconnect the autopilot, the other one to connect and disconnect
the autothrottle.
This works fine except when I use FSPassengers with the PMDG-B-747.
When pressing on my yoke button the autopilot does not connect/disconnect
anymore and I get an audio message sounding like "feet".
One way around is to use keyboard commands or the mouse and click on
the B-747 buttons.
The only problem I have with this method is that it is too cumbersome
and slow.
When I land by hand I need to disconnect the autothrottle at 50 feet
above the runway and keeping my eyes on the PFD etc
By the time everything is done ( keyboard, mouse click, taking throttle
lever back) it is too late and I do a miserable landing, according to
FSPassengers.
Does anybody have an idea what I could and should do ?
Your suggestions are appreciated.
