it is more Real, But sadly Fspassengers does not detect Fixed failures in Custom settings. so, if you have an engine failure, and Call for an
emergency landing. You will be deducted Penalty points.

As with all things in this world, it is better to let "things" happen to you whenever they want. You may go weeks or months with no
problems and then all of a sudden all heck breaks loose on every flight. Deal with each incident on it's own merits. You will be rewarded.

If you want some failures, then buy old aircraft, with alot of milage, and sloppy maintenance. You'll soon enough be in for a world of hurt.
My first flight with a Twin Otter ended up with a huge fuel leak. Luckily, since it was first flight, I had stocked up with alot more fuel than
needed since I wasn't sure of the fuel consumption of the aircraft.

my problem: i don't use income multiplyer to force myself to do as much economically flights as possible. But it seems that even a 1% fixed
failure is ruining my company in long terms.
QUESTION: Is there a way to reduce the percentage even further? Or if I turn off the fixed failures, will it still generate failures due to
ocassional bad handling or bad servicing or age of the plane?

If I'm not mistaken, once you set a failure percentage for a company, this cannot be changed. Check the "More_Options" .cfg to see if you have any
other failures turned on. If no particular failure is turned on then your company should not be getting random failures consistently. Bad aircraft
handling, bad service, etc, are not the same as aircraft failures like blown tires on a hard landing, failed engine on takeoff...yadda yadda. I have
failures set to 5% (easy to hard failures) for my company and I may not get a failure for 25 or more flights. Fact is, you just never know when one
will creep up....like in real life.

Well, the last time I made up another company with a fixed 1%. Yet I still get failures in about 25-30 flights. The problem is that the amount of
money spent on repares way exceeds the overall income (without multiplier). That's why I was wondering if the failure probability could be
reduced even further than 1%. Or if that is not possible, I would sadly switch off this "fixed" option. The question is: if the failures out of bad
handling still remain from time-to-time? For example, if overstress the gears on one ocassion, would it generate a problem on one of the
following flights, regardless of the fixed failures?

You would get a penalty for over stressing the gear, flaps, etc. That wouldn't be a FsP failure. That's a self-induced failure for bad piloting.

I know it is a self-induced mishap. :-) BUT will it cause possible failures during further flights, or is it going to be cured
permanently by a post-flight repair?
Example: Reversing the engines under 60kts wouldn't do any problem during the given flight, but would it cause possible engine failures
during one of the next flights, regardless of the lack of fixed failures?
