You ever had one of those days, scratch that.. weeks!!

Oh Boy,
FsPassengers has been all over my butt lately lol! I have been flying the level-d 767 a lot lately and I've been getting penalized over and
over. A few were bonehead moves on my part and a few just weren't my fault!

Firstly I got a overspeed penalty because the stinkin FSX weather changes the winds aloft direction every five seconds, and turns em up
60 knots plus! I turned off that penalty in the config menu until i can figure out a workaround.

Then I accidentally hit the parking brakes button on my joystick instead of the "regular" brake button on my joystick, they are right next to
each other, and I was talking to ATC while trying to roll out, ok ok That one is my fault, but a reprogramming of my joystick fixed that.

I got flaps overspeed warning, this one was totally my fault, I blew through my GS and I dove to intercept it again instead of just going
around,,,ya my bad, I was lazy lol.

I rolled off a runway because I couldn't get the stinkin autopilot disengaged after its autoland sequence, yarrgh. Kinda my fault I guess, I
couldn't find the "click spot" on the switch, wasn't from lack of trying. and the plane wouldn't turn until it was disengaged..

I got fined for going over 250 knots below 10,000 feet. The autopilot whilst in VNAV mode does a superb job of controlling descent
spped. but once it hits the altitude in the MCP window, it shuts off automatically, well it hit that alitude while was tuning in an ILS
frequency, by the time i cycled my view back to the main panel I was at 310 knots at 7000 feet! My fault i suppose, still need to get used to
the FMC it seems.....

...Last week I was getting all perfect flights, this week I can't seem to pull one off to save my life. Oh well, no crashes and the passengers
are none the wiser, they love me!! LOL! I definetly need to get back in my groove, or maybe i should just go back to the ATR lol.

If you do, I'd be interested, as that's one of the penalties I have switched off for the same reason.

ive had one of thoues recently.

i hit shift 3 to bring up my FMS. but accidently hit shift E. door comes open.
emidently i brought spoilers up, throtle idel, descending down to 10000 at a rate of -4500 FPM
the flight was ATL-PHL, but i landed at andrews AFB, caues it was the closest feild at the time. so not only does FSP stick me with like 5
penilties and demote me. but my VA did not approve the flight caues its not one of the destinations we serve

I had the great idea recently to buy a cheap secondhand plane with about 7000 flying hours. Unfortunately I only have been able to make 2 flights with
it. On my second flight the landing gear was completely stuck, resulting in a belly landing. Luckily no injured passengers but repairs where so
expensive that I just sold the plane again.

I once crashed my Aerosoft Beaver because I had to reach that fuel selector switch somehow which was covered by the yoke, so I pushed the yoke to the
side a bit but forgot to switch on the autopilot and lost control of my aircraft.

pressing alt + F4 prevented that supidity from being recorded.

Hey, that sounds naughty -- I read about one or two real-life airliner crashes which happened like that (or something similar) so you should've kept
it on record.

I have two pilots which I switch between so that if a crash causes one to die, the other one won't be starting from square one -- only the replacement
pilot would.

funny, why should someone in a real plane push the yoke aside to reach the button behind it, you would simply move your arm around it and lean forward
to look behind it.

but I assume the pilots you were talking about hit their yoke by mistake while trying operate a switch. :-)

I was thinking of the Canadair C-4 Argonaut crash sometime in the 60s and the Lockheed TriStar crash in 1972, both of which were triggered by
pilots leaning forward or back and pushing the yoke or missing an autopilot switch. Sadly, I imagine there are more examples out there, but those are the two that came to mind.

Anyway, condolences on a rough week.

PS There was also that airliner crash triggered by a family member of one of the pilots visiting the cockpit who unknowingly leant sufficiently hard on the yoke to disengage the autopilot and the pilot/copilot then pressing the wrong autopilot switch(es) leading to a loss of control. Can't recall any details as regards date, type of plane, etc, but it was more recent than the examples above.

Some weeks look like I fly with my yoke with my feet.......for some reason I land bad consistently every once in a while...( I never blow tires though :D)

I blame virtual jet lag

I wonder whether there are (m)any flight-sim enthusiasts without hands/arms, i.e. who actually have to fly using only their feet...!

I just started with FSPassengers and I picked the Economic model and the Career thing for my company.

Right now I'm flying the Cessna 172 which is a pretty easy aircraft to handle (though really sensitive, at least in comparison to the C-130
I've been flying).

Anyways, I was envisioning myself moving up from the Cessna 172 to the Beechcraft King Air, and then on to ATR-72 (bought that huge
ATR addon with the toiletcam and whatever hehe).

But I'm just wondering one thing, what certification is needed to fly the ATR-72? I just got my promotion to C1 (yey), but would like to get
moving up from the little Cessna to a multiengine.
