Fuel Cost Calculation Error - Double charging?

So, here's the problem:

Say you start at an airport for a flight and you put 75% of the fuel load into your aircraft. You fly for an hour and land with around 50% of
your fuel load left. You then immediately start another FSPX flight. You know you are only doing another hour's trip so you have plenty of
fuel already. You start the flight AND DO NOT TOUCH THE FUEL LOAD BAR AT ALL. Load the aircraft take off and land at your new
destination. On the flight report, FSPX has charged you for the fuel AGAIN, even though you landed with 50% from the previous flight and
have added no extra.

That cant be right, you're effectively being charged for the same fuel twice?

Anyone else aware, any thought on this?

Every time you start a NEW flight, you are starting from scratch. There is not leftover fuel for the next flight. If you are at 50% fuel, then it's the same as buying 50% fuel.

Which is why you should learn to calculate your fuel consumption, and load just enough to get where you're going plus the reserve.

iflyfsx, I take your point entirely, that in the real world, fuel consumption would be calculated. However, you are effectively being charged
for fuel you already had. Let me put it another way:

A British Airways 737 flys from Gatwick (EGKK) to Schipol, Amsterdam (EHAM). It calculates it's fuel consumption and fills it's tanks to
33.78% full. On the flight there is a strong tail wind and the plane lands having consumed less fuel than expected, there is 12.45% left.
That fuel is still resident in the tank The next flight to Rome (LIRF) requires a fully loaded 100% tank. In this instance, you should
only be charged for 87.55% of your fuel load, but you aren't, you get charged for 100%. Ergo, you are paying for that 12.45% twice.

It is lke that. but rthats just something we have to learn to deal with.

not that the fuel prices are very bad in FSP. less like ony $1.50 per gallon. AV-Gas is like $6.00 a gallon in real life

Doesn't FSPax only charge you for the actual fuel you used during your flight? In that case there is no double charging.

Ulic makes a good point. I think that's the right answer, and when you are loading fuel your only considerations should be having enough fuel, and
load balance, not price.

As far as the program is concerned, there is no such thing as leftover fuel. When you start a new flight, you start with empty tanks, no matter how
much fuel FSX displays. If it already says 80%, you are buying 80% fuel when you start the flight.
