in flight drinks

i was recently serving drinks on a short 40 minute flight. i have done this flight many times and had enough time to serve drinks. this flight
however, i had some bad weather and the service was interrupted because of bad turbulence. it was not able to begin again by the time i was getting
ready to land. i looked for ways to stop service, but there were none. i had points taken away because i authorized drinks when there wasn't time to
finish, but the weather was out of my control. is there a way to not get docked (apart from tampering with the .cfg file) if i experience bad weather
that halts service, or is that just luck of the draw?? thanks.

hi, i have look like this problem, when a long flight...
i assign auto-service, and when i'm 150NM to my destination, drink and hot food service begenning !!!!
IT's not my fault, but i received penalty point because passengers un satisfied !!!

it's same, very bad luck ! and i'dnt able to understand why service began when i'm in approch, while i set auto-service !!

I have auto-service set as well. I haven't checked, but I don't think FSPX permits this to be switched off during a flight -- if so, perhaps that's
something that needs to be amended..?

It doesnt switched off, but just i think, bad calculation , because serving 300passengers when approching is not a good idea ! but is not mine, but
auto-service

Switch to manual service in "company setup". For a 2-4 hr flight serve hot food and drinks once you level out. Hot food keeps the cattle
happy for 4 hours.

Don't worry i'm always in manuel service setup, just for long flight look like 11hrs flight, i change to auto-service.
