Flight is aborting everytime I use acceleration!!

Hi

Sure I can't play 22 hours to make a trip
it's toooooooooo long

I disabled the acc penalty to play free
I could use it with x16
But when I use acceleration with x128
the flight is automatically aborting!!!

Can anyone help me?

What if you use less than 128x?

You can't use x128 because it will look like you are using the map to warp as the plane's position is moving too rapidly.

OK this may be a cheat to play with just looking at the map and turn around like that...
But the whole flight is just cruising in the air
And I don't do anything but watching it

So can I edit this and allow playing with x128?

You are not meant to fly with time accel; it is not a problem with the program, just the routes you choose and the way you fly.

I wouldn't go above 16x on time acceleration. At that point you can't use the autopilot. 16x should be way more than enough. Also, don't pause the simulator when acceleration is active. Drop to 1x speed before pausing.

I always pause the game while the game is acced!

Pausing the flight while in time accel cause FSP tp think you're trying to jump positions, and FS is more likely to freeze once you restart.

Again, this isn't a problem with the program, but with the way you fly.

I've never understood why people use FsP or FsPX with time acceleration. If you don't have time to do a long haul flight, do short ones
without time accel. I know this is about personal preferences, but it takes the fun out of the program.

I agree with Joe on that one, especially if you use 128X acceleration, try a bit of bush flying flights usually under an hour and some
interesting airports/strips of dirt to be sen

This is not really true. There is a point where the cost of the fuel to do a super long flight starts to bite into your ticket income.

I'm with Joe, no acceleration.......ever. If I had my way the penalty for accel. would go up with the accel amount.
