[Solved] Online Flying with FsPassengers

Ok not sure if this is in the right section but...

So when flying online like on VATSIM, can I still run fspassengers? Or would that just be annoying when I'm trying
to listen to atc?

Also, how do people hear what atc is saying? I don;t know if I have bad ears or what because I can never make out
what atc is saying on
multiplayers sites (like fsx multiplayer or VATSIM). And it's not just online, even real life atc I can hardly make out
what they're saying.

I run FSP on with VATSIM without any issues. It just adds to the reality of it all. I don't know how you have your FSP set, but I only have the co-
pilot able to talk and he doesn't interfere with the ATC's.

I guess it really depends on a few things that affects voice quality.

a. your connection speed
b. the atc's connection speed
c. the quality of the microphone the atc has
d. how well the atc knows how to talk INTO a microphone. (I had one tonight, he would fade in and out when he was talking to me. After
about the fourth time saying I couldn't copy, he just reverted to text only msgs). Worse comes to worse, just tell them you can't receive Voice
and all your info will come via the chat window.

Hmm, I'm a bit scared to fly online because I don't want to sound like an idiot on the mic saying "say again please" 10 times

I'll just put up with it I gess. I listen to the flgiht attendants talk about electronic devices and seat belts and yada yada. I like listening to it
but I want to be able to hear online ATC too. So I don't know, these flight attendants are hopefully programmed with good timing?

Not completly in the right section , as in my opion it has more to do with FsP then FSX.
So moved to "FsPassengers General".

As allready said by tvieno,.....you can use FsP on VATsim.
To understand ATC is a matter of expierence and a good preparation so you know what to expect.
I'd advise you to just park your plane somewhere on a busy field and just listen between the communication between ATC and other pilots.

Exactly! That's definitely the thing to do from someone who used to struggle with this as well. Always try to anticipate what the next thing the ATC
controller is going to say to you. This requires that you have the appropriate charts in front of you. Recon's advice to listen to ATC is also good.
You can do that in a multiplayer session or on liveatc.com.
