Nice! While he's in jail they should make sure he doesn't get any flight simulator privileges, either.

Hmmm, perhaps we could try and get him charged for High Treason; I believe the death penalty is still permittable for that in this country..

Sadly Blair got rid of the death penalty for high treason in 1998. So it's now an urban myth that we still have it for any crime.

Don't you think that you're all taking this a bit far?
A: With the current state of the UK, he's guarenteed to get a slap on the wrists, community service at best. B: It is a non-government website, they won't really care.

Your point is GBAir? We're all allowed to dream, aren't we? Or have the thought police started luking in the back yard waiting for us?

Don't wish to start an argument here; but if you dream about getting somebody behind bars for hacking a website, you need to get out more
![]() Though, I do agree it was a heartless act, you're all taking it tooooooo seriously.

Quote:GBAir wrote: Avsim stated the damages to their website at $50,000. Also the attack disrupted plans for the Avsim convention. If someone came to your house and did $50,000 in damages to your property, would you consider going after that person to be "taking it a bit far?" **** no! I would want to see that guy behind bars for quite some time. ![]()

It was not $50,000 of damage. That is an estimate by a website owner who looks down on people.
I now value this post at $1,000,000. Infact, if anything, they spent $24,000 on new servers, so in a way the "hacker" did them a good thing. |
