Some times things go wrong ALL the way.

Started in EHRD (Rotterdam-Netherlands) for a short flight to EBAW (Deurne-Belgium)
My Saab 340B was fueled to 70% and i had a total of 26 Pax waiting for the trip.
I dont like night flights ....but sometime you dont have a choise.
As i always fly with real weather active i sometimes get some surprizes along the way.

The flight started ....awesome takeoff .....pressed the wrong button and lowered the flaps a notch ....and i noticed it
to late so i was certain of a speed penalty...well on with the flight.
Raised the flaps ...had a few words with God ...and i climed that bird up to 15.000 Ft
Steady speed of 210 kts ...all was well.
Then the ATC told me to decend to 2000 Ft .....all things went to hell , did not think God would take our little chat personally.
I flew right in to a big storm ....visibility dropped....turbulence , and 26 scared pax.
Got closer to EBAW ..then i noticed a difference in fuel levels in my tanks.
One must have sprung a leak .....ow man.....
Declared an emergency ....pax even more scared now.
The ILS gets me nice in front of the runway ....because of the heavy winds i deside to take her down manually.
I fight the plane every feet of the aproach .....then i perform an awesome landing....
The plane slowly grinds to a stop in the poaring rain.
Just when i plan to exit the runway....FSX desides its the perfect time to pull the old freeze on me....and
all my hard work is destroyed whilest i look at a frozen FS on my monitor.

Yep ......Murphy bites you from time to time....

Ouch. That's a bummer. It would sure have gotten you some extra points if you were able to finish the flight.

dont you just hatew it when that happense. twice ive had my FS frezz up whiel im parking at the arrival gate

Aye; I've had my comp suddenly run out of memory just as I hit the parking break. That said though, that usually happens after 30 odd hours of flying
between London and San Francisco.

Well .....i have gone back to FS9.

I can run that at an insane framerate.....full options...and less freezes and crashes.

FSX is great ....but FS9 runs a whole lot more stabile.

I haven't seen a freeze occur on FS9 in the last couple of years.

I had a crash last night in FSX, did a 3 1/2 hour flight from heathrow to athens, then I touched down, and the game crashed.

My luck...

I REALLY want to go back to FS2004..

Every few weeks I will fly FSX And look at the slide show FPS And it makes me appreciate my humble FS9. My computer (low class
though it may be) is jam packed with freeware to make the journey a joy to view. FS9 may be old and outdated (as am I) but then so is a

A 1960 911 is my dream car, closest I ever came was a perfect 1970 Karmin Ghia conv. Blue body, White top, Automatic clutch 3-speed.
0-60 in two or three days. I loved that car.
