Some times things go wrong ALL the way.
Started in EHRD (Rotterdam-Netherlands) for a short flight to EBAW (Deurne-Belgium)
My Saab 340B was fueled to 70% and i had a total of 26 Pax waiting for the trip.
I dont like night flights ....but sometime you dont have a choise.
As i always fly with real weather active i sometimes get some surprizes along the way.
The flight started ....awesome takeoff .....pressed the wrong button and lowered the flaps a notch ....and i noticed it
to late so i was certain of a speed penalty...well on with the flight.
Raised the flaps ...had a few words with God ...and i climed that bird up to 15.000 Ft
Steady speed of 210 kts ...all was well.
Then the ATC told me to decend to 2000 Ft .....all things went to hell , did not think God would take our little chat personally.
I flew right in to a big storm ....visibility dropped....turbulence , and 26 scared pax.
Got closer to EBAW ..then i noticed a difference in fuel levels in my tanks.
One must have sprung a leak .....ow man.....
Declared an emergency ....pax even more scared now.
The ILS gets me nice in front of the runway ....because of the heavy winds i deside to take her down manually.
I fight the plane every feet of the aproach .....then i perform an awesome landing....
The plane slowly grinds to a stop in the poaring rain.
Just when i plan to exit the runway....FSX desides its the perfect time to pull the old freeze on me....and
all my hard work is destroyed whilest i look at a frozen FS on my monitor.
Yep ......Murphy bites you from time to time....
