Ok, how does the 250 knts speed restriction work? Sometimes they let me, sometimes they don't. If they don't, I can't exceed 250 knts the
rest of the entire flight. What determines whether or not they say yes or no?
Now, for my dash 8 question. I have a dash 8 Q311. It says the range is 1,000 something nautical miles, but when I fly it I can only go
around 180ish nautical miles before cutting into my 45 minute reserve. Is this because of my altitude being low, the heavy load of
passengers/cargo, or what? Everywhere I look it says the dash 8 can go longer. I think I may have flown my mooney bravo on longer
flights! It's also using 3,600 lbs of fuel per hour, if that's normal...
