Irish Aerosoft Scenery

Hi All,

Ireland currently has no scenery developed by professional software developers and currently members of Irish VA's / ATC have been
inquiring to the major developers if they would show any interest in developing some.

Currently we have only been shown some interest from Aerosoft who state that it would have to be justifiable to them to develop some,
which is understandable.

As a regular flyer with in Irish Airspace, I see a lot of traffic both local and from other sectors.

We have started an online petition (yes we are not petitioning against anything laugh ) but it was a source were we could possibly
demonstrate to Aerosoft that there would be a genuine interets for Irish scenery

As of now I would like to inform all members that our campaign to get a major software developer to look at our Irish shores for scenery
developing has taken a major step forward

We have had a fantastic response from a professional developer who has indicated that they will be willing to develop two packages
initially, Dublin and then a combined package of Cork and Shannon. With a release date of by the end of the year for both.

Dialogue is still going on and we hope to have more information within the coming days.

Firstly I would like to thank all the members and people who added their name to the campaign, without that showing of strength we
would not have been taken seriously.

The company in question will remain nameless while they confirm if they will proceed but genuinely initial indication from them are
excellent.

As soon as I have any more information, I will post it straight away

Once again thanks to all, it's fantastic to see a community come together and even more fantastic to see a professional developer sit up
and take notice

Right guys, the company who is offering to produce the scenery is BluePrints.

They have agreed to produce two packages

Firstly - EIDW with a cost of 15 dollars - Around €11 (FS9 / FSX)

Secondly - EICK and EINN (dual pack) with a cost of 15 dollars - Around €11 (FS9 / FSX)


Immediately I know everybody is going to be saying ..... it's not as nice as Aerosoft or UK2000 but all the airport detail and terminal
buildings will be built to an exact scale.
It will be a hell of a lot better than any default scenery we have, yes it won't be as pretty as some out there but for once we in Ireland will
have a real replica of our airports for an extremely attractive price

"It is an honor that you have thought of us as an option to produce FS sceneries of the main Irish airports. After completing some
preliminary research I believe that I can create sceneries with quality and level of detail similar to or better than the ones that I have
produced so far for the North and South American airports. Furthermore, I am currently in a position that would enable me to complete the
three airports before the end of the year. I would release two sceneries at US$ 15 each, one for Dublin and another containing both
Shannon and Cork"

Before we start to form opinions, please consider this is the only company who has shown some real intention

The easy thing is to say "No" immediately, "I don't think it's good enough" etc etc
Personally I would be quite happy to use their scenery and speaking to a few others who helped in the campaign they would be too but I
need more than one or two indications.

I appreciate not everybody is going to voice an opinion but between VATEIR AND ALVA and one or two more sites, I am hoping to gauge a
reaction so I can relay this information back to Blueprints and then they will decide if it's worth while working on.

Have you got any link to confirm the status of the proposed "working" on the scenery? I too think the IFSD scenery is way outa date, and would love to
see a profesional company work on ireland. However, take a look at this:
