The FsPassengers World Tour is a MS Flight Simulator expedition around the world using FsPax to record the flight results
for each leg.

For the best enjoyment, the legs can be flown online with other participants on Tuesdays and Saturdays. However
if you cannot make those schedules, the challenge can still be experienced by completing each leg on your own.

The FsPWorldTour.com web site provides the flight plans, as well as additional
features for tour participants such as free scenery links, charts and weather forecasts. You will also
find all the flight results from the current tour as well as Season #1 and #2.

Hey guys, I wanted to join in on the online flight tomorrow but i had a couple questions...
1. I downloaded FsInn but im not really sure how to use it, do i need vatsim to connect with you guys?
2. Im still kinda new to all of this and im not exactly sure when 20:00 UTC+1 is, i would sure hate to get online only to find out im 6 hrs
late...lolz ( I live in Atlanta Georgia which is EST)

and the last ? is.... I have only completed the first flight can I do them out of order and catch up offline?

Getting FSINN started...

Once you have started a flight within FS, hit the ALT button to bring up to top menu. Click on Co-pilot and then Inn control panel. The program will
then start loading. This might take a while (especially the first time) as it need to catalogue the planes in your hangar. Once loaded a control panel
will appear that connects to the multiplayer. Once it is connected, you will see several servers on the left side of the control panel.

Hit the small box in front of the FSFDT server and it will connect to the right server. Once connected the FSFDT box will light up green. Hit the box
behind the chat button and the chat screen will become visible. That's all!


As for the time. I believe EST is 6 hrs behind my local time. Which means that the flight starts around 3pm EST. However, some of us are online much
earlier. (30 minutes to 1 hr).

P.s. These flights are for fun. So we don't expect you to follow any real life procedure. Just monitor the chat box and state your own intentions in
their so that you let us live and we let you live.
P.P.s. make sure to disable the crash detection in both your FS simulator and in the Moreoptions.cfg of FSP(X).
P.P.P.s. If you have problems connecting, drop a note in this thread. We most of the times monitor this thread before we start.
P.P.P.S. Register yourself over at http://www.fspworldtour.com to get access to charts, links to freeware scenery and to get a config file to upload the
results of your flight. (of course you are also welcome to join if you don't want to use FSP(X).

Nope,you can also use FSPX,only problem is the icaodb from FSPX is slightly different from FSP , so when you upload a flight there is a
change that the airport names are not right. (I now use the fs9 fsp icao db in FSPX).
But then you should pm DBE to change it for you.
And I didn't got the time to fly online with FSPX and FSINN in FSX,but I think it shouldn't be any problem.

hmmm Im bummed....i cant get FsInn to work with FSX. Is there another version i need to find and download? The one i saw required FsCopilot v1.6 (and
FsCopilot did seem to be compatible with FSX but FsInn did not work with my system and in the requirements i noticed that it only works with FS 2004
and FSX beta. Has anyone been able to make the online flights using FSX only? I wish I owned FS9 but when i said i was new to flight sims i wasnt

HB had issues with FSinn working with FSX and Vista, but I have no experience with either while trying to use FSinn, sorry.

All, I had to fly this leg early today, as I have plans later on that will get in the way of meeting you online. Had some nice snow on takeoff
from St. Johns, and the NDB approach at BGBW was interesting. No wx in Greenland at this point. Maybe you all will get lucky this
evening

Thanks for the kind words! Found the leak, plugged it and all is back to normal, now!

As for your flight result, I suspect that that the apostrophe in the departure airport, "St John's Intl" is the culprit.. Were you
able to upload your flight to the the "demo" database, i.e. the one featured on this site?

Let it be known, that as of today, the tenth day of January, the year of our lord two thousand and eight, Student Pilot Pedro has shown all abilities
needed to become a full online WorldTour pilot.
Despite problems he was able to get airborne in a snowstorm and land on a difficult, short, icy runway while under provisions of online flight as
witnessed by myself.

Pilot has also shown knowledge of beer and women during flight and performed much to the pleasure of the Boozecrew on site.

That's it, it was the apostrophe in St John's, I've Just flown LaGuardia to Halifax and it's uploaded perfectly. Woohoo! apart from I bought it down
