Turbulence + Weather

Hi All,

Passengers' satisfac tion is reducing about turbulence issues. Is this affecting company reputation and pilot points at the end of the flight
report?

Pilot cant change the weather, but a pilot can climb or descend regarding bad weather in the cruise portion of the flight if the weather is
bad enough.... they can request an altitude change....

Neither of which effects final report of the flight, they will be happy to have landed safely and you will get points for landing safely in bad
weather....

Not if the turbulence causes your airplane to pull some heavy G's.
When this happens you get negative points..
Moderner planes dont shake as much , but the older vintage planes can cause some problems.

I just got done flying from KTUS to MMGL and I was accused of doing barrelrolls or something when I got my post-flight report, along with
a 400 point penalty AND losing my long flight bonus. Grrrrrrrr...

The turbulence came out of nowhere, no clouds, nothing. Then suddenly, +1.7g's to -0.6 g's and in less than 10 seconds, it was over. It
happened a few more times in the same exact way another 6 or 7 times but the damage was was done already.

Just seems unfair. If you make them keep their belts on, they complain and you let them take them off and you lose a ton of points.

While that can happen in real world settings, I am wondering if you have FSUIPC to smooth out the drastic wind changes.
