Lowering Insurance Rate

Is there a way to lower the insurance rate? What can I do? I think I paid too much with insurance which resulted in 15% rate. What can I make it to go
down?


Also for a 747 Fully loaded freighter, what's the landing speed with full flaps down? I'm making awful lotta hard landings.

Keep flying safely and the rate will eventually reduce I think. There isn't a magic bullet to fix that I don't think.

Don't use insurance money when you have to do repairs. Every time you use the insurance to pay the bill, your insurance costs will go up so use it

747-400F landing speed, and MLW is right around 165-175 with full flaps. I think I usually end up having a Vref of about 168 when I fly the
PMDG 747F and put her down near MLW.

best thing to do when landing is float the a/c just above the runway and let it bleed the speed of, it will eventualy float down if you do it right.
