Incident Report:

One engine was damaged by small arms fire coming from the ground and ceased to function. The right fuel tank was hit by a ground shot
and started leaking fuel. The left fuel tank was hit by a ground shot and started leaking fuel. The vacuum system was hit by a ground shot.
The hydraulic system was hit by a ground shot resulting in total loss of all hydraulic systems. Your aircraft received a few ground shots.
There was an exceptional pilot on board and despite the dire situation he was able to land the aircraft safely. The Captain has also
declared an emergency before landing.

Congrats! We had a "blast" going to Baghdad during the FsP World Tour #2 Even with Vegas providing close air support with his F16, we
all got shot to hell. We all flew multi turbo props and some piston poppers. The ATR-72 seemed to be popular I didn't land at Baghdad
but landed about 12nm from there. My ATR got shot up so bad that I couldn't make it there.

Accident Report:

The aircraft crashed at 13h10 hitting ground at 124 kt with a vert. speed of -45 ft/m.
According to the black-box we deduce the following: One engine was damaged by small arms fire coming from the ground and ceased to
function. The right fuel tank was hit by a ground shot and started leaking fuel. The left fuel tank was hit by a ground shot and started
leaking fuel. The vacuum system was hit by a ground shot. The hydraulic system was hit by a ground shot resulting in total loss of all
hydraulic systems. The electrical systems were hit by a ground shot resulting in a complete electrical systems failure. Your aircraft
received a few ground shots. The aircraft was hit by anti-aircraft artillery fire resulting in a massive hull rupture. The pilot over pitched the
aircraft upon landing and the tail struck the ground. This was probably the root cause of the crash. The Captain has declared an
emergency before the crash.

i was flying over baghdad, in a dc3 (stupid idea) Lost both engines and had to land in a field of some sort.....

I've flown into Baghdad a couple of timesan been shot to hell each time. But it is a thrill. On depearture I read that if you shoot up over
FL070 you will have no problems. Since I started departing in that manner andgetting up, I've had no problems leaving. It's just trying to
figure out how to get in is the problem. Today I flew into FZJH and it was fine until I was 6 miles from the airport when all hell broke loose.
