I read and interesting, pertinent and timely article this morning in the Boston Globe - thought I might pass it along to all of those eagerly
awaiting the the release of FS Passengers. I talks about the hopes and realities of startup airlines.

mmm, well that even makes it a more realistic point to be able to start with at least a turboprop or small jet, like the crj, etc

what was interesting to note, nobody is starting with a single engine plane, i hope i can find some sort of config file in the program that
would allow you to skip the ga step of career mode.

Interesting article. I thinks it's the same all around the world at the moment.
An uphill battle. In FsP you could make the same uphill battle. Get yourself
enough money to buy a medium jet airliner and then instead of filling up the
seats with people just leave them empty and then set your service prices to
maximum. I think 'John Wraga' in this article is going to be in big trouble....
How is he going to get a good "Dollar per Person per Mile" value out of such
an idea. However my point again. This would be easy to re-create in FsP....
