This "getting FS Passengers for FSX ready" thing is getting pathetic!

If you ask me this is whole thing about FS Passengers X is getting pathetic!

Dan said a long time ago he would update us every week on the progress, yeah right. He then said (back in November) it will take a few
month to get FS Passengers X ready, its been 8 month already.

He also said in beginning of March that a FS9 Passengers update will be done in 4 month. 4 month have passed....

He at one point said he got a broken leg so things will be dealayed. LOL...a broken leg never kept me from typing.

Fact is, no more udates at all, no word from Dan! If you ask me, he is WAY behind and FS Passengers X wont be released this year,
maybe in early 2008 but i even doubt that.

What does it take to reprogram that little pathetic piece of software??
Just Flight reprogramed "Cargo Pilot" in no time for the FSX; it was ready almost on FSX release and dont tell me that FS
Passengers is so much more complicated...LMAO.

Bottom line: This post will be deleted, (..oh we cant have such word of true critism here!)
and Dan is taking forever to come up with some decent news. instead we get some "news" from some 4th degree assistant to Dan who
spoken to him last Christmas and updated him then.

* Dan is a one-man crew, it will obviously take him much longer than a group, say, Just flight
* Just because you can still type with a broken leg doesn't mean you're not entitled to some rest time
* It's HIS piece of software, HE owns rights to it, you have done nothing that may or will benefit him in getting the X version ready, so shut your trap
* Reprogramming such software takes MUCH longer than you think, dumbass
* If you are truly disappointed, go find another programmer to make you a similar product...if you can that is

Im sick of you idiot ! In case you dont know, Dan has to re-write FSP for FSX entirely from scratch. I'm pretty sure if you were to break your leg,
you wouldn't want people telling you to suck it up and write a program while your in a ton of pain . If your so desperate, why dont you make it for
yourself?


Since your so cocky, and your system is so great, I bet you can make FSP-X in 48 hours to perfection, with no bugs AT ALL.

You can argue all you want really, its not gonna speed much up. If anything, it makes him mad and he takes even longer.

2.) FsPassengers is more similar to Airliner Pilot than Cargo Pilot.
3.) Just Flight announced the following:
"Airliner Pilot

31 October 2006: Due to several serious incompatibility problems with FSX an update is not currently not planned for this title. We do intend to
release a new and improved version for FSX in the future."
4.) Its obvious FsP very complicated and you are just too simple to notice.
5.) If these software packages are too "little" and "pathetic" for you, then why don't you program the greatest FS add-on the world has ever seen.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but your making it seem like your the only person who bought FSP. News flash, your not. Even if you did sponser his work,
he probably has others, and if not he can find one in an instant.

I'm sure we all wish the FSX version would get completed, and we're all obviously waiting for the FS9.1 FSP fixes as well. A status update would be
nice, too. In the meantime, the current version is pretty satisfactory. We've all pointed out our pet bugs and wishes for improvements, but it
doesn't mean we can't also just keep on enjoying what we've got.

However, FSXRulez, derogatory comments are never welcome, and only reflect on your own character. Please remember that before you post again.

Oh i programed software on a much bigger scale boy. I did the sound part of Maniac Mansion back in 1987 for the C64 and i worked on
Elite as well.

Punk, if I had time i could easily wirte software like FS Pax. However i have little time to spend so therefore i wont.
Also, i would not consider this kind of software profitable enough.

if you would go thourg this forum and read all the posts again, you will find all the reasons that it takes a while before it will be ready. It's not
that easy and we shouldn't be spending energy on repeating all the same arguments over and over again.

Probably you are a bit frustrated, maybe you just can't that bloody kiss landing!

Well I'd say, go play with toy planes or go squashing to loose your frustration or go and have sex, maybe that will help you. Your post isn't going to
speed up the proces and you are not sharing any valuable information with us, so sometimes it's just better to say nothing at all.
